Weekend Update

Friday was pretty uneventful but we did have my nephew over for the night because Sam had to work on Saturday. At about 9:30 - 10:00p.m. I heard a thump in Avril's room so I went in to check well Braeden had fallen out of bed and fell asleep on the floor sitting up. It was quite funny to see him sitting below the bed sleeping. Funny little feller.

Saturday was a mommy day and I went to a 12 hour scraping event in Andover. Before I left I heard Owen playing in his room so I thought I would be nice to Joe and get him up and feed him before I left. I walked in his room to get him and he was hanging on to the side of the crib STANDING!!! Why can't he just be a baby for a bit longer.

My scraping event was great and I learned a few new things and met some great women. I really enjoyed not having to get up every 2 1/2 seconds.

Sunday was the St. Michael Church's fall festive and unfortunately is was quite cruddy outside and we froze our butts off. Joe ended up bringing Avril and Owen back home while Isaac, Hannah and I stayed back and played kiddie games and BINGO. Hannah won $5.00! I am still waiting for them to call me about the car I was hoping to win. Huh better luck next year right!

BINGO!!!

Chit Chat

It's been another hard week.... Owen is getting between 4 - 6 teeth in right now. ALL at the same time! His top gums are so red and swollen but I think they are almost ready to come through. Let's just say he has been extremely irritable this week! As any other mom knows -if I could take the pain away I would but I can't so for now I just bear with him as best as I can. Thankfully; tomorrow I will be at a 12 hour scrapbooking event all by myself. It will be nice to have a whole day with no baby on my hip.
Owen also got his 1st real haircut last night. He is not impressed with the buzzer and cried through most of it. It turned out real cute - he looks much older now.
Other then that all is going well. Hannah & Isaac are having fun in school and Avril still tries to go everyday. She thinks that if she puts her backpack on then she can go too. Oh and I almost forgot, Joe's garage completion is nearing the end and we can officially call the outside done. He'll be moving in shortly ;)
XOXO

This and That

TGIF! It's been a very eventful and long week. With all of us battling this cold all week and school starting I am officially ready for the weekend. I just wanted to update everyone since I forgot to earlier in the week....Owen is sitting up all by himself and crawling all over the house. I am a little sad about the whole thing because that means my last baby is growing up.

1st Day of School

Well Hannah and Isaac's 1st days of school went great for them both. I am truly blessed that they are both such great kids and enjoy school so much. Hannah went back on Tuesday and had a great day. I am a little concerned though....the only people she knew in her class we a bunch of boys. Do I start to worry already. She said her teacher is awesome because she makes math fun and for Hannah that is good because she struggles a bit in math. I just can't believe she's already in 3rd grade. Time goes to fast.

Isaac had orientation on Tuesday then actually rode the bus yesterday. I was so nervous because Isaac is such a quiet and shy kid that I thought he would cry and not want to go. Ha I was so wrong...We were out their waiting for the bus like 20 minutes early. He was a bundle of excitement the whole morning. (Isaac has afternoon kindergarten and gets on the bus at 11:00) He came home just fine and was excited to tell me all about his day. Their are 2 kids from his preschool class in his kindergarten class so to me that made the whole transition much better.

Hannah got home stating that she was so worried about Isaac all day! She was worried that he wasn't going to get off the bus at the right stop so she sat with him on the way home. It makes me feel so good that they care about each other so much!
